Ok, my birthday is on Dec. 2nd, 1991, and I just wanted the weather records for that day. I lived near Columbus or Norfolk Nebraska. All I've been able to find were the record highs, and the record lows for the day. not the actual day I was looking for.

Thanks in advance!

Go to the NOAA site -- it will tell you every lightning strike on a particular day.

Have you tried the library microfiche records for the newspaper? Look on the day afterward and it will give you the temp range for the previous day....yes I KNOW it's still a range, but think about it. How many people in this world are really going to record the exact temperature and humidity at 7:46 PM? I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but you are splitting the hair of meteorology pretty finely for this one.

Other options are any local universities or colleges who have programs for climatology or meteorology. They may be "geeked out" enough to keep morning, mid-day and evening temps for days such as yours.

Good Luck!

You probably can't get much detail that far back. There is little point in keeping hour by hour records for thousands of locations across the country.

try using Google, you might be able to find newspaper archive that will give you what you want.
