Depends on the country, the name and who knows about it. In England a man was arrested for wearing a Cradle of Filth t-shirt that said on the back "Jesus is a C un t". In the US Dimmu Borgir was thrown out of a radio station interview after using the F-word. Its all about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Airport in Seattle was sued for having Christmas trees last year I believe.
So, name your teddy bear anything you like, just don't tell the government, they might not take kindly to hearing you refer to you pal Osama Sadam!_!

Only if it insults the Islamic faith....name it Buddah, Jesus,Raj is fine...BUT NOT after the muslims...They refuse to let Swedish reporters in the country because a paper a year or so back ran the cartoons...AND IT WAS NOT THE SAME PAPER

Apparently, it is a crime to name the bear Muhammad. . .

It depends on how you people percieve it.
On the romantic side, people in Japan (or maybe other part of the world) believe that when you name a teddybear on the name of the person that you love / have crush on (in regard the person gives you the teddy), that person would be yours.
ps: tell me about voodoo-ing. hahaha ^ ^
