ya, throw something at him. omg, i just have to tell this story, i simply can't resist. ok, so at my cousins grad party 2 years ago(it was a party where everyone slept over in a camper or tent, then the party continued the next day)... a couple of my cousins and myself we out by the fire around 3 in the morning (we were trying to stay up to see the sun rise) ne way, so we were out playing cards, it was pretty quiet, and then we hear this noise, and we thought it was a weedwacker, and we were like who the hell is weedwacking their lawn at 3 in the morning?? but we stopped and listened, and it was my uncle snoring in his tent (his tent was really far away, like a 10 minute fast-walk from where we were) we couldn't stop cracking up. when we finally calm down, itwould be quiet and we would hear it again. so to this day, everytime we see my uncle we call him uncle weedwacker. lol

When I was younger, and lived at home, my mom or dad would fall asleep on the chair.. and start snoring loud.. and I'd just cough a lot until they snapped out of it hahaha. It works! Try it!

While I am inclined to think of something humorous the majority of the time, believe me, this is not one of them. Most people don't realize the health risks snorers face.
Seriously, for his health, find him some information on CPAP machines and encourage him to have a sleep study done. Did you know people who snore are 4X's more likely to have a heart attack or stroke? Oxygen levels can drop to dangerously low levels, causing extra stress on all organs ranging from the heart, brain, kidneys, etc....a CPAP machine is the only REAL answer short of surgery, which doesn't always work. Snore strips and sprays are really a huge waste of money....they work on occasional LIGHT snorers...not us heavy heavers...
I now have a CPAP machine and it does wonders for me! (they use a slight bit of air pressure to keep your airways open). I figure it'll add at least 20 years to my lifespan! This is something you don't want to avoid. Trust me.

Yell at him, he'll wake up and think that he's having a bad dream. He'll stop snoring till falls back asleep, plus it's fun to pretend that you have no idea what's going on when he wakes up trying to figure out what's going on.

Ha, ha, your question is funny, Don't think the pillow toss would work.
You might tell him to check out the "Stop Snore Strips" that is placed on the nose at night. I understand that works for some.
Otherwise, you might consider wearing earplugs.

Doctors say snoring is a result of a brething problem. I have seen one also snoring heavily. Physicians prescribed a cpap machine to help in breathing during sleep.

Throw a pillow?
No, no, no. You very gently take the pillow and place it over his head -- to muffle the noise.
Don't hold it down, however, or you could end up doing jail time.

Get a ton of fuzz or something and drop it in his mouth. I'm not sure if this will stop the snoring, but it'll be funny.

Try the plastic clips that go on the outside of the nose, increasing his flow of oxygen; the product is called called "Snore Clips".
There is a throat lozenge that keeps the throat lubricated or take him to the doctor. There is a simple operation that can be done to eliminate the problem.
