Do you think it's fair fur Cops to run the homeless out of town, I am homeless here in North Hollywood and the Cops are harassing the homeless here? If so why & if not why?

Our community has been dealing with this issue by building a homeless camp that opens this weekend. There are already some complaining of its distance from downtown even though transportation there will be made available. I see clearly that many could benifit and some will look at the free hand up and out as too conditional.

The cops don't have the rights to harasse the homeless. They are people also and they also have feelings. They homeless has the right to be wherever they want to be.

no i don,t think it,s fair i feel that cities and towns should set up places for the homeless to live like take older model trailers and put them in vacent lots *something alot of cities and towns have plenty of* and put in power poles to supply them with power and give the homeless a place to stay that would keep them from having to sleep in parks allys or doorways i feel it,s a shame we don,t do more for the homeless in this country and thats how i feel

no it`s not fair for them to run the homeless out of town,but unfortunatly people of substantual means, don`t think about things like being homeless they just see an eyesore bringing down the property value.

the cops should be helping the homeless,not harassing ,and to answer some other peoples question ,she can get use of a computer many ways ,libraries,Internet cafes,plus it is expensive but satellite,if she has her own computer.

I didn't know the homeless had internet access now a days... but ehhh, I don't it's fair, maybe they should lead them to a help center... I don't l know...

It's not really fair because what are they going to do, go home? The police should contact a social agency that will help them find a place to be.
