Do your legs change length depending on skinny or not? That is what the inseam measures.

the inseam bears absolutely no pertinance to the style of jean/pant. it only tells you how long your leg is. 30 might be what Blue Seal considers "normal". Short is usually 28 1/2" to 29. Regular 30" - 33" and tall 34" and up.

you can have skinny, boot leg, etc. all with 30" inseam.

the inseam is from the crotch of the pants to the base of the pants. it basically the length of the jean. it has nothing to do with with whether they are skinny or not. you would have to measure the hole wear your feet are to get that number. I'm not sure what you are looking for in an answer but i hope i helped in some way.

The inseam only tells you how long your leg is. Not how fat or skinny.
