As a former christian, now married to a muslim man, I can tell you this IS adultery. His marriage is only religiously based and not filed with the court system. But he is obligated to this wife first. Muslims are not allowed to 'date' and I have to wonder if his only interest in you is called 'visa fever'. If he's seeking a serious relationship, you better think long and hard first as to how you feel about being wife #2. Obviously he's not going to divorce her.

It doesn't matter whether he is 'technically' married or not.

You know he is married, therefore it will be committing adultery if you chose to continue.

You can cloud it with technicality as much as you want, but if this really bothers you, it would linger in the back of your head and never let you let go of the fact that what you were doing is wrong.

If you don't care, then you're just a bad person...

I'm calm and maybe you are or are not speaking
about yourself, but just because a person is not
married in the states, remember God is all over
and his rules apply so man has no say so in it.
Marriage is in the hands of the Lord and he will
make the ultimate decision as to who is or is not
doing the right thing, especially if the person or
persons involved do not know.

Marriage is a legal affair not a religious affair. If you are married then you are married it does not matter if you change locations. Dating a married man regardless of his religious beliefs is adultery anyway you look at it. What is Cristian Law? I have never heard of it. He is not single, he is married. Location does not change that. Are Christians suppose to date married men?

If you want to go by the original meaning of Adultery as given to Moses concerning sexual intercourse, if you are not married then it is not adultery.

As given to Moses, adultery ONLY applied to the woman if she were married. The man who had relations with her was guilty of theft because the woman/wife was considered property only.

If you are a Christian as you say you are then you are under the law of grace. which has only two commandments, read Matt. 22:37-40. Nowhere does it mention adultery.

So if you date him and even have intercourse with him neither you nor he is guilty of adultery if you want to go by the strict meaning of the law of grace.

Read this information to confirm what I am saying:

http://www.libchrist.com/bible/adultery.html

http://www.libchrist.com/bible/fornication.html

I hope these two bits of information settles your question well and for those of you who doubt what I have said you should read as well...Thank you

Yes it is. One of the Ten Commandments. Thou shalt not commit adultery. If God says it that should be enough. Would you want someone commiting adultery on you? And what kind true christian dates someone of a different religion anyways? a muslim who doesn't respect women, someone who has no second thought about beating his women. You're in american culture babe, who cares if he's hot or not. YOu will regret it.... IF it's you we're talking about. INSANE!

Yes it is still considered Adultery because you are a Christian, so the rules apply to you. I'm not to familiar with the Muslim faith, so I can't speak on that side.

There is no "christian law" in this country. There is only secular law. This is not a christian nation. See the Treaty of Tripoli for more proof of that. Regardless of religion it is adultery.

If you have to ask the question I think you know the answer. He is with someone else and you need to move on. Technicalities just get people in trouble.

Come on! Its adultery regardless of the religion. This is just another example of someone trying their hardest to convince themselves what they are doing is okay.
