Can anyone recomend any jean brands that are good to buy if you are short and have wide hips?

i am 5'4" and I feel your pain. Shopping for pants in general is an utter pain for us short and curvy gals. First piece of advice for you, ignore the length. Unless your inseam is between 28 1/2" to 29" you will never ever find jeans that fit you in the length. Petites are usually that range. So get a tape measure out and measure a pair of pants that fit you really well and measure from the crotch to the bottom of the hem. That is your magic number to take to the dry cleaner or seamstress.
Anyways, back to your question. I usually have to buy normal length, not petite and hem them since I am not totally petite. My sister in law who is 5'2" swears by pants from palces like Bebe, Banana Republic, DKNY, Ann Taylor Loft.
Start in the petite section first which is designed for people up to 5'3".
You will probably need to hem most everything. So find jeans that fit you perfectly everywhere else.

yaa i'm 5'2 (13 years old) and i really love american eagle jeans. they come in short sizes and all different sizes in the hips. i also have a pair of true religion that fit me really well everywhere, but they're sooo long on me, i'm going to get the professionally hemed though. there's this guy in my town that can do them with the twisted seem and everything. but those are the only jeans i wear. i also like A&F jeans, although i don't own any. good luck!!!!!

Um, go to hollister, and find the jeans that say "short" on it, for example, if ur a size 4, it will say "4S".. hope i could help! I would rather recomend Aeropostale instead of hollister bc i dont realli like Hollister

im short too and the 00 short fits me really well at A&F but if you have bigger hips i would try ae, i dont fit into their jeans because there to big in the hips and waist- but if you have bigger hips they might fit u good and they come in short.

The brand is Angel Jeans i found mine at JCPenny i love them! the only brand i wear now!

just buy the jeans you want and then roll up the bottom part a little. you wont be able to tell. i tried that so many times and i still do that. (:

you should be able to find jeans at a lot of places.
i'm a little under 5'3" and don't have a problem finding jeans that fit lengthwise.
so try charlotte russe, pac sun, american eagle, and target.

wet seal has sizes that are labeled like '3 short', '3 regular', and 3 'long' so just get your size in short and it might fit :]
