you can get a lot of things in stores.
If you would describe the thing we might have an idea what you are talking about.
google "abana" and "anvilfire" that will give you 2 very useful websites as far as blacksmithing is concerned.
Given a forge, an anvil and a hammer a blacksmith can make most tools for blacksmithing himself.
