This does happen alot in Disney, doesn't it?
Most Disney flicks ARE musicals....but some aren't.
Songs keep little kids entertained when there's a slow plot, and Disney appeals to little kids and makes their money off them.
Some are just regular movies with like three songs that seem to be randomly sung.
Which can be either cute or quite annoying.
I don't think I'll ever be able to get out "There are No Cats in America" from AN AMERICAN TAIL.
Ughh!!

If I had to guess, I may be wrong, but it is probably because Disney has the most Oscars for best song.

Well, because Disney Channel is for all ages and most of the younger kids are into movies like that. I think it's kinda gay, but it's their channel!

singing or dancing is Disney's signature and it makes the children watch it even more.
