Wish they would bring Alan Q back but I bet that would be a bit much 2 ghosts on the show. I really miss Emily. I loved the chemestry between her and Nicklas, it will never be the same. I hate ABC for doing this or is it the writers?

Emily will be around until May. That's when Natalia's contract is up, it's not the writers' doing. I've heard that Emily is neither a ghost nor a figment of Nik's imagination. Is it possible she cannot pass into the afterlife until her and Nik both except the fact that she's really dead? This is supposed to be the love story to end all love stories. I cannot wait to see the storyline play out, it should be a great ride.

I do not think Emily is dead, the Cassadines have a long history of faking people's deaths. Leslie, Stravos, and Katherine and Lucky have all had deaths faked by the Cassadines and In Leslie, Katherine and Stravos cases there were actually bodies and services just like Emily.
So do not count here among the dead yet. What I suspect will happen is that if the producers cannot come to terms with Natalie for a new contract (and face it she might as well re0sign, she is a decent soap opera actress but she is not "big Hollywood star" material al la Demi Moore (who was Jackie Templeton on GH when she began)) then her "ghost" will disappear for a few weeks while a re-cast is done. Then just when Nicholas has come to grips with the loss and moved on, to say Leyla, Emily will reappear but this time in thrall to Helena.

Maybe the writers will decide that Emily really is not dead, just some sort of sick Cassadine prank. You know Helena, she's always snooping around Wynndemere. She probably overheard Nicholas propose to Emily, knocked him out & faked Emily's death.
I miss Emily so much & don't want to accept the fact that she's off the show for good!!

No, because her contract is up in the spring they will just keep her on untill then.As of right now she is a ghost. Yesterday Alfred didnt see her when he came into the room. I personaly think she's just in denial that she died. Once she figures it out she will be taken off the show. This week has been really sad. Nikolas and Emily were my favorite couple to watch i really hate to see Emily go!!!

Natalia Livingston who played em want to leave to pursue other projects. Her contract ends in may of 2008. She will be playing a ghostly figment of Nicholas conscious. If Natalia ever wanted to come back sometime down the road. Guza J.R. has a big mum to bring her back. So we are just going to have to ride it out and to see where the story is going to lead us. Stay tune.

I think that the reason she can't pass is because her murder hasn't been solved yet. She will stick around and we will sadly have to wait until May (when her contract is finally up) to discover what really happened that horrible night.

It was Emily's choice not to renew her contract. She wants to do primetime. She will be on until May 2008. So enjoy her until then.

i agree with u..her death was another loss to gh..but natalia wanted to leave, they wanted her to stay...i hope she changed her mind and then down the road in may..nikolas will wake up and this will be a horrible dream..unfortunantly thats not gonna happen
until emily understands that shes gone shes gonna help nikolas remember wat happened that night..i cant wait
