I moved in 6 years ago, the apartment was not completely fixed at that time. So as the time passed he was fixing the apartment but he didn't fix it completely, then more people came to rent on first floor of the landlord's house and the first floor wasn't fixed either so the landlord started fixing for the people there and he didn't finish fixing our apartment on second floor! The landlord didn't really do a good job to fix the first floor apartment so the people there moved out because he didn't fix there.

So the problem now is that the landlord is completely fixing the vacant first floor and he never wanted to fix our second floor apartment since then. The bathroom in our apartment isn't fixed and a lot of cold comes in through the dents of the room and its so cold now that winter coming. Same goes for the other rooms in our apartment. We did call the inspectors so they could do something but they said they didn't find anything wrong with the apartment. What can I do?

Oh yeah and I if someone could provide help finding a good apartment in Chicago that's at least $350 for rent I would really appreciate it, but I wouldn't really move because the house is right next to brothers school and next to stores.

I'd venture that the inspectors found no safety or health code violations, and that's why they can do nothing for you. Your option is to find a different place to live.

definite, that's LL's duty to scrub the gutters on apartment--that's their property If that's a house, it is your duty placed it in writing to LL in a well mannered way request that gutters be wiped clean, observe once you first reported subject, what's occurring because of the fact gutters are clogged, harm to development, leaking, etc. Request that gutters be cleared by utilising end of month

I have to agree with acermill. If the inspectors did not find any violations or issues, there's not much you can do.
