The real Muslims ought to be protesting this corrupt and extortionist verdict.
Notice that the children's Muslim parents didn't mind naming the bear Mohammed. That's because the bear was obviously not an image of the Prophet, who always has (pbuh) written after his name. The bear doesn't.
The school has a dispute with the government over taxes. This is the regime's typical way of enforcing its will: terrorist-style extortion. Of course they knew better that any action against an innocent British subject would have to be milder than their tactics with their own citizens, so she was merely threatened with 40 lashes. But this was done to send a message to the school and others: don't mess with the regime.
This is mild compared to the regime's policy in Darfur.

Quite frankly what can sensible people say about this obscenity occurrence I see our foreign office have made strong representations , obviously diplomatically, but, I am sure like many of my fellow citizens in the UK,are of the opinion diplomacy is failing.
, We now have a country that is really dominated by, what can be said and what constitutes offence, against other cultures, for God sake this is, OUR COUNTRY, it does not belong to foreigners , they are here at it is certainly time now for definite indication to anyone who threatens our way of living that, it will not, be tolerated any longer,If anyone enters this country and does not like that, they must depart forth with, we do not want you, irrespective from whence, you came,

No. It won't help the Muslim faith. It makes it bad for the reputations of reasonable Muslims when the Sudnese offend the thinking of every reasonable person.

Do you know what makes me laugh the politicians reaction " I strongly protest to this " so when David Milliband is sat in his flat in London do you think for one minuet he gives a ****. If they did they would have been on the plane to Sudan and protest in person. Fuckin politicians make my blood boil due to their lack of activity in cases like this to help others.

Firstly I am religious but am not a Muslim ..........

Typical English if you are in Sudan then you adhere to their rules,
Don't make stupid excuses,
they have laws, obey them or don't go there
very simple and clear, respect their laws and beliefs
Coz the english don't believe in anything, they make the Sudanese
out to be bad, should have whipped her as well
Typical
