I guess you would call me an OLD-FASHIONED guy. My idea of a big night is staying home watching an old Charlie Chaplain movie that includes Max Sennett's KEYSTONE COPS. One of my major accomplishments in life is that I don't own a CD player, but do own a NICKELODEON
which still works.

So taking a part in the remake of the the 1923 classic Richard the LION-HEARTED as a MOVIE EXTRA seemed a natural for me. I even talked MY BEST FRIEND into taking part with me. I wound up with a bigger scene in the movie than I could have ever hoped for even though I still had no lines. On the second day of filming, while standing on the castle wall where I was supposed to be one of many characters killled during a battle, I suffered a spell of VERTIGO. So, instead of following my WELL-DEFINED role and simply falling to the ground, I toppled off the wall and fell 20 feet into the moat. This was all captured on film and was used in the film. It is really quite spectacular.

I didn't get my name in the credits; there was no WHIRLWIND tour of the talk shows; and no Oscar nomination,, but I did get my name in a few trade magazines who wrote sidebars about my surviving the fall unscathed.

So if you ever see this movie, be sure to watch during the 2nd battle scene closely. You don't want to miss such a great piece of "acting." I am still an old-fashioned guy, but if I can find another old-fashioned movie, maybe I will resurrect my acting career. For now, I think I'll just sit here and watch "The Bangville Police" again. Mabel Normand's in that one. Now that's an old-fashioned girl.

Me and my friend Taniqua-nae` went to a club dressed in some old-fashioned 1930's dresses. We were dancin in the club when outta no where, a strange little man asked me "what is a keystone kop?" I didnt know the answers, so I kept dancing. I had a few drinks and started feeling queasy, so I took a walk down a street. I walked past a tv shop which was playing nickelodeon. I sat on the curb and watch spongebob, the brave, lionhearted, spongebob battle Sandy in karate. Of course he got killed. Then a random movie extra was on the screen, so I knew I was drunk.

My best friend found me on the curb 2 hours later. She rushed me to the hospital. I was so dizzy and tired, so the doctors diagnosed me with vertigo. I yelled "Michael Jackson has that!" No! Im gonna be white!"

They explained the differance between Vertigo and Vitilago in a well defined explanation.

I thought I was gonna die.

Then the hospital was detroyed in a whirlwind, so everyone died.

THE END.

i was getting ready for school and i found these cute old-fashioned jeans to wear. then i found a vintage t-shirt to match that said keystone kops (??). i still had afew minutes until the bus came, so i turned on the tv and watched nickelodeon. i flicked through the channels and found the wizard of oz and the lionhearted lion was being timid. after that movie, there was a movie extra about the cast and bloopers. i turned off the tv and left to walk to school. i blasted the song vertigo on my ipod and started walking. i tripped over a well-defined root in the sidewalk and caught myself before i fell. then a whirlwind of thoughts of last nights homework rushed into my head as i entered the school. THE END :)

I was in the bar across the street from the MGM studios, drinking my Old-fashioned, when one of the Keystone Kops dropped a coin in the nickelodeon. Just then, who should walk in but Bert Lahr, the actor who was slated to play the Cowardly Lion in "The Wizard of Oz." (In person he really is more lionhearted than you'd think from the character he portrayed.) On his arm was a gorgeous doll who worked as a movie extra and was the latest heartthrob of my best friend. Vertigo overtook me, and my head spun in dizzying circles to think that this well-defined dame was two-timing my buddy! I pretended to be involved in a whirlwind of activity as I hurried out of the bar before the pair could spot me.

Okay. So then, Manda was like oh my god that's like SO old fashioned and like she was like all omg Manda your like my best friend how could you like SAY that about me and then Courtney comes out of no where and was all, "OMG I LIKE WON THE MOVIE EXTRA CONTEST AND LIKE I CAN GO SEE LIONHEARTED AND LIKE I LIKE HAVE AN EXTRA TICKET, AND LIKE- wait, there’s like, two people here..."

So, I bet there are some thoughts going through your mind right now. For example, whos Manda? And, whos Courtney? And why was the word ‘like’ used 12 times in that paragraph? Well, here are your answers. Courtney Mammelphezzil, (heh, try saying that five times fast...) is a magazine lover. She buys every magazine out there. She entered the Nickelodeon 'Movie Extra' contest to win two free tickets to see Lionhearted. And, Manda? She just happens to be the most annoying person in the world. She also likes to comment people on there fashion. Anyways, Courtney had to choose Manda, me- (I happened to be standing there listening to there argument), or the person Manda was commenting on, who’s name was Lilly. Why did she have to choose one of us? To give the ticket that she won, of course!

Okay. Now, I bet your wondering who I am, and where the heck do I come in on this story? Well, my names Vertigo. And yes, I know what Vertigo means. It means a specific type of dizziness- a major symptom of a balance disorder. I didn't choose my name, my parents did. And I hate it, just like you do. Well, back to my point. What do I have to do with this story? I was the one who Courtney chose to go to the movies with! Lionhearted was great. It was about- um... it was about, um... wait a minute, I didn't watch Lionhearted with Courtney.

I remembered there was an old rerun of Keystone Kops on, and I just HAD to watch it. So I snuck out of the movies to go and watch it, and surprisingly, Courtney didn't notice. It was a great episode! It was called, 'Whirlwind'. It was about- wait, what do you care? You probably don't even know what Keystone Kops is. Your probably wondering what happened to Lilly, Manda and Courtney- well, eventually, Courtney found out about how I ditched her at the movies...

She told Lilly and Manda, and the three of them decided to give me a 'well-defined' lecture about ditching, and how it's rude, blah blah blah blah blah. And the lecture, happened to be over an hour long... it contained the word 'like' 63 times! That’s right, I counted. In conclusion: All three of them are stupid. Did Lilly and Manda forget that there best friend Courtney ditched them to take me? I barely even knew Courtney when she asked me to go with her! I just wen't because I didn't have to pay for anything. I mean, I knew Courtney could only take one of us to the movies with her- but isn't taking one of your best friends better then taking someone you barely know?

So, after the whole movie thing blew aside, Manda, Courtney, Lilly and I actually became friends. And, we decided to go and see Lionhearted all together. Let me tell you, IT WAS THE WORST MOVIE I EVER SAW! It had nothing to do with Keystones, or Kops! Luckily, later that day I realised there was a Keystone Kops marathon on TV!

THE END.
