Is there anything humanly possible that can be done to free the 2 border patrol guards that are imprisoned for doing their jobs? They are family men, in prison while a drug trafikker who they were attempting to keep from crossing the border with a load of drugs is free. The worst is that our illustrious government turned a blind eye, invited and welcomed him back to our country. Surprise he came with another load of drugs to testify against these two men. Am I missing something or is there a crime being committed here, but not by the border guards?. Who's wallet is getting fatter?

Call up your Senators and Representatives and yell. I have done this repeatedly. But for all the good it does, they will continue to rot in jail at least until Bush is out of office. Bush has a secret vendetta against American citizens, and would like to see ALL of us in jail.

Yeah that whole situation is SO screwed up. These illegal drug smugglers harm border patrol men constantly, and now they are at a bigger risk because they are scared that will go to prison. It's so sickening. Those illegals already committed two crimes...sneaking into the country, and smuggling drugs...and meanwhile the two are in prison for protecting themselves. I just don't understand where everyone's logic is...

The case sucks.

The agents broke Border Patrol rules, knew they broke them, and then tried to cover up the fact that they broke them, but the penalty they got is - in my ever so humble opinion - utterly unjustified by the facts.
