What are some good kids science fiction books like...middle school level and if you've read any of them can you tell me basicly what the story was on and about??? THANKS BIG TIME!!

The Day of the Triffids *
The Kraken Wakes*
Seeds of Time
The Midwich Cuckoos*
Consider Her Ways and Others

The ones I put * next to are brilliant. They are easy to read and are just great stories. To give you a synopsis of them would ruin the read.
