Darth, I'm very sorry to hear about your Grandma. I hope it wasn't very painful for her.
I lost my Grandma on my Fathers side this time last year, and my other Grandmother is in a home basically waiting to die after 4 strokes, she's 98.
At times like these choosing the right thing to play would prove quite difficult for myself. I would suggest some Moody Blues, or some Beatles maybe?
That's a tough one bro, hope you're feeling better soon!

Definitely second the William Elliott Whitmore recommendation. Any of his albums will do: Hymns for the Hopeless, Ashes to Dust, Song of the Blackbird
Nick Drake
Lucero
Morrissey/The Smiths
Temple of the Dog - Say Hello 2 Heaven
Alice in Chains - Down In A Hole, Nutshell
Eric Clapton - Tears in Heaven
Elliott Smith - Miss Misery
Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over
Ben Harper - Another Lonely Day
Mazzy Star - Cry Cry
I'm sorry for your loss.......if you need to talk, message me.

When my dad died, I listened to a lot of Waylon Jennings.
I'm very sorry for your loss.
Edit: And if you don't like country music, Warren Zevon's The Wind and/or William Elliott Whitmores Hymns For The Hopeless would fit well with the situation.

I'm so, so sorry about your Grandma. There's probably not much anyone can say at the moment that will make you feel better. Best wishes to you and your family. x
Anyway, when I'm depressed and I want to wallow in my misery, I listen to Rufus Wainwright. If I'm trying to cheer myself up I listen to upbeat stuff like Franz Ferdinand, Less Than Jake, CSS and Ash.
The Beatles can go either way, so I listen to them a lot too.
I hope you feel better soon. x

So sorry for your loss.
My mother in law died in May and I was very sad too as well as my family. I listened to a lot of classical music, mostly Beethoven and the Mozart Requiem which is sublime and very spiritual. In those moments I can never listen to rock or any other kind of modern music.
I hope you feel better soon.

When I am bummed, I usually want something that will bring me up. Like metal. But here's two that you might like:
Dear Whoever - "A Place For The End"
Chiodos - "Intensity In Ten Cities"
Sorry about your Grandma.

I am so sorry. My deepest condolences...
I normally listen to Jethro Tull or Neil Young when I'm sad. I don't know how it happened, but Wondring Aloud kind of became my "funeral day" song. It's not the lyrics, it's just the music I guess.
I hope you feel better soon. It's never easy losing a loved one.
