i got a quote of 2,450 to replace my weil-mcclain boiler thats
for labor only. parts are under warranty.boiler was leaking
from casing.is this a fair price.

Get another bid. Sounds high to me. Hopefully there is another Weil-McClain dealer in your area.

That sound high - at 120 per hour, you have roughly 20 hours of labor. Is it a gas boiler? Do the need to replace the stack? - Then maybe that many hours labor.

Going rates can run a wide range Per man for skilled crafts men from a company, It can be from $50 per hr all the way to about $200 per man hour.
Plumbers and electricians regularly are making about $120 hr here in Houston Tex.

Mine was 85,000 but and cost 1500.00 with labor and pipe work plus a second zone hooked up.
