I just got at&t dsl and was wondering?

I am getting a dell laptop for Christmas and was wondering on the dsl box all the green lights are lit up except on wireless is that a problem? When i get it will it connect to the internet

If you have AT*T you probably have a 2Wire Router/Modem. With those, the wireless light only comes on when there is a connected wireless device. SO when you get your laptop it will connect, the light will show the activity.

You will need to get the 10 digit security code on the label of your modem to connect. (Its between a couple of [ 10digits ] on the modem label that is the WPA key for your secure wireless connection.

do you have a dsl modem/router combo? it sounds like you might. i'm not familar with those but the light might be off because you have not enabled wireless on the modem/router device. your internet service provider should be able to help you enable wireless.
if your dsl modem is not also a router, then you need a separate hardware router that will conect to your modem and you can enable wireless on the router to have wireless internet on the laptop.
