Today is November 29, the day George died in 2001. Also the day "Something" hit #1, his only song with The Beatles to do so.

So, let's pay our respects. I'll start.

"Here Comes the Sun" is a lovely song, George. We're glad you wrote it.

George is my favorite Beatle! His music from the Beatles years and after amazes me! Everything is SO good! His music and his life will never be forgotten by anyone! "Something", "Here Comes The Sun", "My Sweet Lord", "All Things Must Pass", and all of his songs are wonderful. I couldn't live without it!

He's my second favorite Beatle. Here Comes the Sun rocks, and so does... I think he wrote Piggies? Oh, and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

I'll let everyone else go with his Beatles stuff and say When We Was Fab. I admit its an odd choice, but I find it to be a very mature, bittersweet sort of song.

I'd play something upbeat by George in memory- "Miss O'Dell". One of his "rare", whimsical ones. I love it.

RIP George

There's lots of great post-Beatles footage of him on Youtube. I love the one from the Dick Cavett Show.
