will my USB cord be messed up if I do that ?

Hey I saw that video! Hehe. That was neat.
Well, I'm honestly not sure. I would think that, yes, it would get messed up.
However, it was still a cool project and you should do it anyway! Besides, iPod USB cords are like six bucks at WalMart =D

no not at all. the electrolytes and the acidity in the onion create a small electrical current... it is safer than the wall jack

Impossible.. and yes your cord will be screwed because of the water.

i have no idea why you will want to do that.
but i wet my usb cord with just a tiny bit of liquid and no it won't work.
