No....you are not done growing as a person and people change as they get older...
It almost never works out and if it does its more out of convenience than love....trust me i live with it everyday...

Rarely. Mine lasted until I was 20. My good friend and his wife just got divorced. They got together in high school and they are both around 50 now. They hate each others guts and only stayed together because of the kids and the social stigma of divorce here in the Southern US. I have one couple that are friends from high school that are still married they are around 45. I think that they will be the only ones that I have as friends to make it until death. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

They can... We have neighbors that were high school sweethearts and they've been together over 20 years. Also my brother and his high school sweetheart have been together for 13... I guess it just depends on the couple.

Highly unlikely. Because people get older and change. I do know people who only just knew each other in high school and got together in their 20s and have been married for quite a while. I've worked in retirement homes and I've known people who married in their teens and stayed married till their spouse passed. It can happen.

no, before you do something stupid here are the facts of life you haven't learned yet:
1. There is no Santa
2. Everyone lies (even to themselves)
3. Marriage sucks
4. All men cheat and almost all women cheat
5. Life is not fair
Happy Holidays, good luck and email me with any questions you might have I don't lie anymore.

I know couples who were together 50+ years since high school.
If you are asking this question about your own high school relationship....maybe you should date others as you have doubts. Life is different today and divorce is more accepted, people want to do their own thing, there are more choices, etc.

We made it. 21 years after getting together, we're still going strong. It's been rough, believe me. Particularly in those early 20s years. Now that we're in our 30s, it's been much easier for us to understand each other.
