one year I gave my hubby all things for his brand new car, a stereo system, racing seat covers, guages, etc. Thats all I got him was stuff for his car. The problem is that on Christmas Eve, I wrecked (totalled) his car. So everytime he opened a gift he was just reminded of what I did! It was a sad Christmas=(

I once gave my 5th grade teacher a "shaving kit". I olny had a few minutes to get him something, and it was the only thing I could find.
Male teachers who hate nuts and chocolate in those little tins are the hardest to shop for!

A 19 cent Bic ink pen. I was in the 3rd grade and didn't have any money. I remember her crying, and the teacher told her it was the thought that count.

When I was 14 I went out Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and bought my mother a statue....of a moose....she hated it.
So I kept it for years.....I actually still had it, decorating a shelf, when I was like 30....my landlady saw it one day and fell in love with it. She asked me if she could have it and I said "sure."
I still remember that moose.....my landlady thought it was great....lol...my mother did not.

a leather jacket that didnt fit, and because it was a clearance sale, she couldnt take it back either. useless gift and a waste of 100 bucks.

i should of kept it for myself, that ungrateful brat
a lot of other ppl liked it and wanted to trade with her since she was making such a big fuss about it, she wouldn't trade.
