YES, you can catch a show, see new hotels (Wynn), for sure hit a club (if you see a club you would want to go to, ask the restaurant in the same hotel for complimentary passes to the club it will save you 30-40dlrs). Plz have a drink at a bar called Parasole down inside the Wynn, it is awsome and you have a breath taking view. For sure go to Studio 54 inside the MGM. The Palms has the new Playboy club. Cheap rooms off the stip and not too far.... what else do you want to know. I live and breath in LV more than 5x per year.

Vegas, my home town, is a regular city away from The Strip and gaming. But as most everywhere most things take some money. But you can hike Mt. Charleston in the spring-summer, you can hike Red Rock Canyon or ride a bike around the long loop, There are several museums like Test Site, Natural History Museum, and Liberace. There is the Las Vegas Springs Reserve. There is bowling, and movie theatres, and a couple of day time magic shows on the Strip that are free. Don't forget there are Broadway shows here, too.

A great place. Before moving here I vacationed here two to three times a year for 13 years. Lost my desire to gamble and decided to try other things. It truly is the entertainment capitol of the world. So many free things. You can spend a week just seeing all the free attractions. Be careful where you eat. The most expensive part will be your room. Stay on or near the strip. If off the strip be sure they have a free shuttle to the strip. Palace station has the free shuttles and the prices are pretty good. All the Stations have good food but Palace Station has the best prices.

Gambling is the bread & butter that built Vegas and is still its bloodline. I suggest if you're not really into gambling AND don't have much money to spend, don't go. If you don't have the green, you can't make the scene and that usually works everywhere you go not just Vegas. Vegas is not as cheap as it once was and you can run dry pretty quick if you're not careful.

There is plenty of stuff to do in Vegas besides gambling. There are free shows all over the place and just walking the strip is hours of entertainment. The one thing I didn't like is that people expect a tip for everything. It seems like someone always had their hand out. I can open the car door myself, I don't want to pay someone two bucks to do it for me.

After checking out any shows you like, you can eat cheaply too!! like at Ellis Island Casino which serves steak meals under $5USD!! and a lot of other cheap yummy dishes.

You can drive and see the Hoover Dam or Grand Canyan or simply check out the sites and sounds of all the casinos. There's a lot to do in Vegas and on the cheap. Check out Old Vegas. That's another great place to visit.

Without a doubt Las Vegas continues to be the best vacation destination in the world.

The amount of things you can do here dwarfs any other vacation destination.

You don't have to gamble in Vegas. Just the hotels themselves are a sight to see and all of them have special features that make them unique, like the Chiluly glass art statement in the Bellagio.

For more interesting things to do many of them free, check out http://www.lasvegas-wow.com/vegas-things-to-do.htm

(many of them free)
