While everyone here is almost in agreement with who is the greatest NHL player (and depending on what generation you're from, that player is either from Brantford, Ontario or Melville, Sascatchewan), here is another debate-starter: who is the best of the brightest in terms of top Canadian junior?

LITY- where did I get Melville from? I swear I remember reading that Gordie Howe was from Melville. I stand corrected.

Obviously, the highest upside is Tavares. I think guys like Gireaux, Vorecek and some others are better right now though.

Snoop, the greatest player in NHL history was from Parry Sound, Ontario (and Gordie Howe is from Floral, Saskatchewan)

i would prob have to say steven stampkos from the sarnia sting OHL i am a current season ticket holder at the windsor spitfires and when steven plays against he is a scoring machine in any situation i know people in there answers they say john travares what ive notice is that he cherry picks i know he can score but defencely hes not there and steven ia a more valuable player helping out on both ends and scoring like crazy he can split any D in not even seconds hes so fast and i get mad because the windsor spitfires dont hava a player like him so dynamique stamkos is the best junior and will get taken first overall in the nhl draft
