Lately I've been finding a lot of bogus games for the playstation 2. Now I'm not saying the ps2 sucks or the games do or what ever i just have a bad habbit of picking up games that kind suck >_<. Other than the basics like Final Fantasy and kingdom hearts and the Resident Evil games what would you guy suggest playing? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried God of War 1 and 2? They're not RPG games, but then again, neither is Resident Evil.
Try Rogue Galaxy or Odin Sphere. If you can find it, definitely get Shadow Hearts: Covenant. It's one of the most under rated and unknown RPG game out there.
For a change, try Okami.
For action games, there's Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Metal Gear Solid 3.
I think the first SSX and SSX Tricky are really fun. SSX 3 and SSX: On Tour kind of dropped off.

Dark Cloud 2
Star Ocean - Till the End of Time.
All 3 are great RPGs for the PS2. DQ8 is a turn-based RPG, and DC2 and SO are action RPGs. Enjoy!

Journey of the Cursed King was an impressive RPG. If you go to GameSpot.com, you can search in the RPG category under the system until you see a title that interests you.
