In my opinion this was a problem society.
Too many young people got hooked on drugs which gave them problems later in life.
The Vietnam War during the 60s & 70s cause a split in the USA that never truly healed. Some of our young men went to Canada to avoid the draft.
However the music from the 60 & 70s was great, many new bands with a great rock & roll sound came out of the 60s & 70s.

It was great. Free love. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. Actually, the drug part wasn't great. But the rest of it was a really "groovy" experience. If you have specific questions you can e-mail me.
