The bees around our town are going nuts! They are flying around in circles and making hives in the trashcans at our school. They have invaded our campus. And they dont seem to be stinging, but they are trying to fly in peoples faces and land on us. Why are they suddenly going coo-koo!

First off, are they actually bees? The lack of stinging sounds bee-ish, of course, as wasps like Yellowjackets get very aggressive this time of year, but you never know. Then, there is the seasonal effect and the weather - I suppose you might have late-season bee swarms for some reason trying to establish hives even this late in the year. Why don't you look up a local beekeeper and ask if he has any thoughts on this?

You do not want a bee hive established around your school. Contact a teacher or principal who can get a local beekeeper to catch and move the swarm.
