The majority of the show is filmed on a sound stage in LA, but some of the features are based on places in Mandalay Bay. Look at the waterfall that is actually the front of Mandalay Bay. BTW those casino hosts who socialize and wear revealing dresses, all a Hollywood creation.

It's a set, not a real hotel, though some of the first season was filmed at Mandalay Bay. Its current set is said to be the biggest set ever for a TV show.

I have filmed on that many times...sometimes its a set that was made in LA or sometimes we film at the Mandalaybay casino
