I have to agree with these people. Amnio's are risky and quite frankly not worth putting the baby's life at risk to put your minds at ease. Obviously there is a chance it is his baby or you wouldn't want proof. He doesn't have to put his name on the birth certificate until he is sure it is his. Once the baby gets here they can swab its cheek which has no risk at all. Your boyfriend will probably have to pay for the test which runs around $500 to $600. Is he THAT sure it is not his?

No doctor is going to do an amnio for a paternity test unless there is a medical reason to do the amnio in the first place. You'll just have to wait and do the paternity test when the baby is born.

Request a DNA after the baby is born.. I hope you arnt doubting her from what your boyfriend is telling you , this girl may be having his child and she needs support not accusations at this time.. Innocent until proven guilty , get a test done after baby is born and put it all to rest once and for all . good luck

you can't compell her to have an amnio due to the risk of miscarrage or premature labor. Wait until the baby comes, if she asks for support she will have to prove paternity. If its his child, insist he step up to the plate and be a father.
