I have to go with the BB gun. Did it myself, The neighbor across the street let her dogs out everyday and they came straight for my yard. I finally got irritated enough to strike back. I shot the lead dog of the two in the rear end with a BB and he never came back. He came out the door and stayed in his yard. A BB will do no sever damage as long as you stay away from the face. I only had to do this once. His cowardly friend stayed home as well.

Since dogs sniff the area first, you could try spraying something on your yard that would irritate their nose, or mess up their sense of smell. No, I'm not recommending cayenne pepper or mace like products.

Pellet Gun, go and take a dump in the owners yard, or collect the dogy poopoo in a sack for several days and toss it all over the owner's drivway or porch.

Put up a sign that says "Hey dog owners, this is not a doggie toilet. Please kindly take their business elsewhere."
