A trophy wife is often much younger, but not necessarily.
However, the type of man who desires a "trophy wife" is often the type of man who really would "trade her in for a newer model" ten or twenty years down the road.
Generally, the type of man who wants a "trophy wife" does a lot of socializing, often in a business capacity. A "trophy wife" is a wife that impresses colleagues, clients, other people in a man's community, etc.... at first glance. So a "trophy wife" is typically very beautiful on the outside, well-groomed, fashionable, carries herself well, etc...... she's a "show piece". A woman happy in this role is typically somebody who wants to be known for her beauty and elegance, not her intelligence or creativity or work with the impoverished. You can't necessarily expect to have an in-depth conversation about politics with a trophy wife, but she will smile admiringly and seem glued to your conversation and feign interest in every word you say because that's her "cup of tea". These days trophy wives tend to need a lot of money for "restoration" over the years and provide a lot of revenue for plastic surgeons, so who's to say how old some of them really are! It would probably be rude to ask!

No..it is either a young age for an old man.. or the amount of money the husband has or the wife has.

It is a combination of the smoking hot factor and yes, 10 or more years younger adds to the trophy status. Double digits in the age difference is a definite plus.

Most women hit the wall at 30 but I have seen some trophy wives at 40 if they have always worked out and are beautiful. I would say under 30 after that it is downhill REAL FAST for women. Sorry women the truth hurts.

A trophy wife depends on the man in her life. How he appreciates her, loves her, respects her, supports her, and vice versa. The value of a marriage grows and shows in the wife by her smile, her confidence, and her viture as a woman. good luck

Trophy wife means that you have a sexy wife. Or a great wife like me I am a tropy wife I am not to good looking but I cook clean pay bills work 8 hours and do everything for my hubby.
