A ferris wheel has radius 50 ft. A person take a seat and then the wheel turns (2(pi)/3) radians. How far is the person above the ground??

2π/3 = 120°

When the wheel turns 90° he is 50 ft above the ground.

When the wheel turns the remaining 30° he will rise additional 50*sin(30°) = 50*0.5 = 25 feet.

So he is 75 feet above the ground.
