I am 11.1 weeks pregnant today, and since day one I have had "Menstrual like cramping." It isn't a painful kind of cramping, just VERY uncomfortable. I have had NO bleeding what so ever since I have been pregnant, and my pregnancy symptoms have not decreased. It is ok to get this cramping just about everyday?? Has anyone else had these cramps and the baby be ok??

Thanks everyone for you personal experience!!
I went to the Dr. today and he did a Ultra sound and said that everything looked good. The baby was VERY active and it was just so cute.

Willow: The Dr. did explain to me that they are growing pains that I am having. They are probably the same for you. As long as NO bleeding what so ever occurs I think we will be fine!! Good Luck with your pregnancy!!

Again Ladies, thanks!!!

Hey! Glad to hear other people are in the same boat as me! I am only 6 weeks pregnant, but I have been cramping since before I missed my period. It is a little but less often now than it was in week 4, but they still come on average once a day. And I have never bled!
I've heard it can be from one of the following:
- Your uterus expanding. Your little baby is causing your hormones to keep trying to enlarge your uterus, preparing for when the baby gets bigger.
- The round ligaments. Your uterus is held inside you by round ligaments. WHen you are pregnant, these ligaments will sometimes be easily stretched and will feel sore. This may be more common as the baby gets even bigger, but as early as the 1st trimester, I think we can feel them as our uterus is expanding.

Anyways I hope this helps! I tend to worry with each little cramp and pull I feel, but in the end I know the baby is just making my body feel weird :) Good luck hons!

When I was pregnant with both of my sons I cramped every month when my period was due. With my second son I had a full period at 7 months along. It lasted for 1 full week. Dr said it was normal. Go figure. Too, my second son weighed in at 10lbs 5oz. So.....I guess my answer to your question is this; it is normal for you to cramp. If you are cramping ALL the time then there is something wrong and should be checked. I hope this has helped. Blessings to you and yours for this Holiday Season
