In my debate, I'm going to be using this point as a fact, but I need to back it up. What is some concrete proof to support this?

Well, the logical thing to do would be to find out what kind of elementary and secondary education that very successful people had. What percentage of very successful and very creative people went to public school versus private school.

It would be still more creative if you could find out how many prison inmates attended public schools versus private schools. Most of us do fairly well IN SPITE OF having attended public school. But, I theorize that many people don't do well at all in life, because in public school systems, their specific learning styles ARE NEVER ADDRESSED at all. In public school systems, only one learning style is rewarded, and only certain conforming personalities are allowed to succeed.

I'm sure you can find stuff on the net to prove this... it is common knowledge. I'm wondering why you are debating this side of the argument though. Taking money away from the public school system only lowers the system even more.

test scores are better on average... for most

you can check the NCLB website to get scores...

now... you have a weakness to the argument though... private schools can, and do, turn down students who are previously low performing...

while public schools have to take everyone

so, private schools can pick and choose the best students... which should naturally lead to higher test scores...

there is no evidence (and I don't even know how you could prove it) that they would do better with the same students...

your opposition may bring up this point and you should know...

compare testing scores act sat -- you have an uphill battle this one is VERY hard to prove

I for one think that you can get a good education at either. it depends almost entirely on the teacher and the student and the parents and NOT in the setting

You could try a little something called "research".
