For my internet friends
Especially tbm!
Love you sweety!
In my friendship garden
No flowers will you find;
Instead you'll see the friendships
That I have made online.
They grow from something other
Than normal flowers do.
They thrive on love and support
And understanding too.
This special little garden;
No matter rain or shine,
Is always in bloom;
This special place of mine.
It's filled with fun and laughter;
Where happiness abounds.
This lovely garden echoes
Many joyful sound.
I would like for you to know
That you are planted here
In my "Friendship Garden";
Our hearts are always near!

a very sweet and beautiful female friend of mine wrote me a poem of love and friendship a few years ago. She did it on black card with those funny smelling pens with gold or silver ink and she decorated it as well. Although she was high on opium at the time.

I've never had a poem written for me, but my husband is a fine artist, and he has done 'portraits' of me (with no 'figures' in them, just 'artifacts' from my life), and also has drawn me several pictures so I could remember times I've spent with him. That is just as good as having poems written ... and I'll have those pictures until I die. He'll do more as time goes on, too ... and we are 'together forever and beyond.'

Summer of 1999. My best friend Dawn wrote me a poem on a bar napkin. It was pretty cool, I'd have to find it if you wanna know what it said.

I remember in third grade we did an activity where you interviewed a classmate and then formed a haiku but I suppose that might not count because it was required... but I am going to pretend otherwise.

When I was twelve my mom wrote me a poem for Valentine's Day. I was so happy I cried, and I still have it.
