Once you are 18, child support stops and custody stops because you are now an adult. They can kick you out for all they care or you can leave at any time.

In the USA , as far as I know legally.. a child of 18 is legally an adult and can be out on his or her own and does not need to live with any parent....unless mental illness or horrible physical disability prevents that child from providing for himself or herself.

In USA 18 is the cut-off. Parents no longer have the legal right to take care of you or to demand you live with them.
In custody battles with younger kids judged may even allow a 13or 14 yr old to make that decision.

Unless your a full time student child suppport stops age age 18. If you are a full time student then the child support gets sent directly to you. Why dont you become and adult and live on your own.Your 18 your an adult anything you do is something you have to account for now.You can walk out of that house and no one can stop you.

State Law is different in every State. You will need to know the specific law in your State.

In my State .. an 18 year old can decide which parent she wants to live with.

No .. the parent cannot stop her .. especially when a Court of law orders it.

Child support stops at sometime during this age.

well legally dependant on the state that you live in - in the usa??? You can do as you wish at 18 - except go to a bar apparently! You can live with the parent whose willing to have you there with them, are you religious and its one of those kind of difficult situations?
