reading all your comments makes me feel like i never want to get married ... okay not all men act the same way... but the big problem aside from it all ... we women tend to chose the wrongs ones most of the time and let the good ones get away... i guess this is how life is ... i really hope i got a good one ... becasue ive have my bad ones ... and its hard recovering!!!!

another thing ... why the hell do you guys even get married if its hell....
it sucks getting hurt... i swear now a days guys dont have hearts.....
you gets us pregnant love us for a little then leave us .... in a second ....
im not married yet but i started my life with someone i adore ... and the next thing is marrige ..
thats why im speaking out!!!!

the only men who think that marriage is jail are the ones u don't want to be married to. marriage is what u do when u love and respect one person, u do have to stay home, and be loyal to one. the ones who think this are the ones who are seeking fun and excitement, and lets face it after awhile marriage is none of that. marriage is love and respect, trust, and knowing u can trust that person with your heart, or it is suppose to be that way. if he thinks its jail he really wants freedom to do just what he wants to do without any accountability.

Not all of us think that way, as you know. Look, life is a gamble. You have to take risks if you're to find success, love, a good life. Sometimes, as the saying goes, you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug.
Yes, it hurts when you lose in the dating game - I've lost too, and believe me, being a guy does not make it hurt less. But you take a little time to shed a few tears, cuss a little bit, smack the pillow - and then pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get back in the hunt. The alternative is a life of misery, and you just don't deserve that and you know it. Try again: some of us guys are out there looking for a permanent relationship with a wonderful woman just like you!

Thats easy.
Women think if a guy is hot for them and she has sex with him ,he is hooked for life and wants to be his love slave and she can rule and reign over him for life.
Not ALL women are like this but most.The guy has a few orgasms then sees her as she REALLY is, a control freak who want him up her butt 24-7,no time to himself at all.
Then theres the girls who jump right into sex get pregnant after being told what the guy REALLY is, ignoraing all the warning signs, then when she says "hop to" and he flips her off, she is flabberghasted and dumbfounded and shocked, she snaps her fingers, he flips her off again!WTF she says!
She then begins to see him as he REALLY is and to her sadness realizes all those people who "were just jealous of her happiness" were trying to keep her from getting hurt, they were really trying to help her.Now she is living with a guy who doesnt ever want to be married, because he just keeps saying"well Ive been hurt,lets live together a while and see how things work out", she works while he lays around blowing money of video games ,pot and beer, etc.
THIS is why you women get hurt and when you try to force your guy to change, he sees it as prison, whereas if you either accepted him as he is without wanting to change him, or left him alone in the first place and found a guy you were happy with, everyone would be happy, same goes for guys who marry strippers and expect them to change.Wont happen.
GET TO KNOW SOMEONE before you say I do and do not have sex with someone until AFTER you say "I DO".
When everyone is on their "honeymoon" (married or shacking) thats when they "love one another for a while" then when they get out of bed and start relating and seeing who one another really are thats when feelings change.

The losers think it is jail. The ones who get married 2 and 3 times are the losers. Stay away from them. There is a reason women can't stay with them!

First you are generalizing. Not all men see marriage as jail. As a man, I enjoy the feeling of marriage, sharing with my partner my life and the joy it brings daily. One's values, education, upbringing, are some factors to consider as to how marriage is valued. Some more than others...good luck

My man doesn't think that way. He comes home after work. He is there with me on weekends. We have our problems but we work them out. I know he doesn't feel like he is in jail because I allow him space and am not one that has to know exactly where he is at all times. He does the same in return. It is called trust.

Since marriage is supposed to be so bad then why do people get married again over and over? They should go to jail then maybe they would appreciate who they are married to.

No its the wrong men getting married. It happens everyday. They didn't realize that in marriages your supposed to make sacrifices for your spouse.

I think it is because of a few things:
1. guys are guys. they want to go out and party. look at other girls. drink. and have sex 24/7.
2. those guys are losers. or they're to young. or immature.
3. sometimes its the womans fault. some wives can be overbearing control freaks that never let their husbands get out and have time to himself.
