The first two answers are correct, but they forgot one important detail. The depression contours (if there is a caldera) would be marked with hachures facing downhill.

generally, the rings would be concentric in shape; the rings are broad at the base and as the altitude increases, the rings would tighten showing the dramatic increase in height.
