I am highly offended by another user's comments, when someone insults either one of my babies my Trans Am or my Chevy...I have found the Chevy to be pretty reliable

NO! How do you think I get around AND get 32+ MPG, not THE beast, that's for sure! and do you really think i would put my TA thru the trauma of a MI winter...f no

It seems to me that you have made wise choices! You have a basic commuter vehicle, for your everyday use, and a "fun" car for enjoyment!
I usually drive a 14 year old Pontiac, with over 200K miles on it! It provides me with transportation and good gas mileage! I did not pay much for it, and have driven it for over a year (45K miles) If something were to happen to it (accident, theft, catastrophic mechanical failure) I would not have lost anything. If I did this with a new car, the value would have gone down considerably!
Those who want to judge you by the car you drive are rather shallow! The choice you made makes good economic sense, and I commend you for it!!

well Ashley, keep this in mind when somebody with NO TACT says something like that, "TO EACH HIS OWN"
while i don't know what year your trans am is, the name says it all, the name trans am has always been associated with classic cars. now as far as your metro, while it is not your classic trans am, IT GETS GREAT GAS MILEAGE! i happen to drive a metro and i drive it for the fuel mileage, and not just one of them, this is my 2nd one! and this is not my 2nd one cause i wore it out at 215 thousand miles, but because i was in an accident with it and it cost more to repair than replace.
So i got another one because of the reliability.

well, is it a 1.0 litre 3 cyl metro? if so, yeah it sucks... but maybe you like a sucky car, there are worse things you know... like lovin a fat chick.
