You will need to see an Atty since you are probably well over the SOL for collections in your state.
You could try and trick them by telling them you are suing them but as far as actually be able to you really are out of luck.
I would say take the trailer but it is probably not even worth 1K now and it would take you much more than that to get it moved somewhere or pay on a lot rent. See the Atty to make sure.

It took over sixteen years to figure out that no payments were being made ??? Given the amount of time which has passed, you may actually be outside the statute of limitations to bring lawsuit.
Hopefully, your mother still retains title to the mobile home. If not, you may simply be out of luck.
Contact an attorney for further advice. You're going to need it.

Thaty's screwed up. Just try to get the $14,500 by say, $250/month. If they don't agree, get a lawyer.

All payments you have made, plus the interest lost, plus the balance of the contract.
Not to mention trust.

Maybe nothing since you've waited so long to wake up. The statute of limitations may have run. You need to see a lawyer.

$14,500 + 4% x 15.3 years MINIMUM. But it's been so long, you might not get it. Have they been living there this whole time? Why didn 't your mom say/do something?

there is no amount of money that can replace the trust you have lost. get a lawyer and stick it to them! some family members are pure swine!
include, compound interest, court costs, and lawyer fees and of course, the purchase price.

Your mom stills owns the home, call the Sheriff and have them thrown out. If they haven't paid, it's called squatting.
