When I say "theatrical production", I think I was thinking mainly of pantomime....which I realise is a very English thing that many of you may not have experienced.

I enjoy being asked to participate... especially if there are no wet blankets in the audience.

Only for a concert, I will join in just for the fun. I feel a little silly and embarassed, especially when the more stuck-up people look at me like I'm crazy. Whatever, I'm usually a little drunk anyways. haha
I will NOT sing during the music though, only if the person on stage asks the crowd to join. Then I stop after a few minutes, because it is annoying to hear other people, rather than the person you paid to hear singing live.

It definitely depends on what it is AND on WHO I am with. If its just me and my friends then I don't have to worry about too much, but if Im with my boyfriend then I'd be hesitant....better for him to hear about things like that then SEE it just in case I look funny. lol.
but umm it shouldn't be a big deal in general. What exactly do you mean by theatrical production? Like, a kids show where we have to clap and wiggle....or german beer dancing at Busch Gardens...lol....or comedy and skits where they put the Mike in your face and make you think on the spot. lol?

I would probably blush really bad and then muster up my courage and join in, giggling the whole time.

I like to have fun and usually really get into the production so I really enjoy it when the audience gets to participate.
