He told me he heard a few things but he applied for a job and they told him no, cause he was black, what do we do?

It is wrong... but if they wont hire him because he is black, then he would never have a chance to excel there if you forced him in. He is better off somewhere he can is recognized for the skills he has and not his race.

If this is in the U.S., I would say it is very unlikely he was told that. I would guess that he wasn't hired because he didn't have the education or experience needed for the job. If he has some good facts on this and not just what he thinks happened, he should talk to a lawyer. It is against the law.

If your friend can proove it, he can make a racial discrimination complaint.
