The "what are you listening to?" and the "what are your favorite bands?"

And anything else along those lines.

I can't stop myself from pointing out the obvious fake questions posted by marketing firms. Like the ones asking stupid questions about the video game Rock Band, the Geico Caveman ads, etc...

You know the ones where someone asks what music was playing..., then you look and the guy never asked or answered a question before that one and the screen name is hours old.

Questions that are written by young teens and are full of chatspeak and make no sense, like:

OMG.....do u know y he said?!?!? idk!!!!!!

And then you click on it, and it's all this crazy run on sentence stuff about why did a boy do that/say that, what does that mean? But the examples they give are things like, 'He said he needed a Kleenex so I gave him one, and then he said 'Thanks' - so I thought he liked me, but then he wanted another and so I gave him another and then he didn't say "Thanks" so does that mean he doesn't like me?!?!? What do I DO!!!?

Usually I'll pass these over, but sometimes I will answer just because they are freaking out and then I imagine some poor kid with no one to talk to and I'll feel bad and answer them...Bah.
Wow, typing this out I just solidified the fact that I am a total loser. :-(

The increasing number of kids who post their homework on here, hoping to get it done via Yahoo! Answers.

The dead giveaway is the school-like phrasing of their questions: "what is the poetic significance of..." or "discuss whether 1960s protest songs..."

These usually end with: "PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!"

(Translation: "I've been sitting on my *** and the deadline is approaching, so I'm in trouble and this is my last, desperate solution.")

I must admit that I've taken pity on rare occasions and given them a clue or two.

EDIT: LOL, Dani, you are so right about "Bubbly"! Some recent variants:

"What's that song that goes...(I am not making these up)...

"...it twinkles my nose?"

"...it crinkles my toes?"

"...it starts in the soil, and then I crumple my nose?" (I don't know how he / she got "soil", but you have to admire it, somehow...)

I don't hate any particular questions, but I really hate when people answer and say, "I don't know!" It's all just for the points, but if you don't know then don't answer...
