Here's the deal. If you don't want to get pregnant, then don't have sex. Why?

Because no birth control, even pills, is 100% effective. I'm just being honest with you from what I've seen and heard and from personal experience.

There are so many women that come on Yahoo Answers scared and confused because they got pregnant while using the pill.

Here are the major problems with getting on birth control while being sexually active:

1. You could still get pregnant
2. Hormonal birth control has many side effects, some very serious
3. You are not protected from disease
4. You are being dishonest by sneaking behind your parents back

I'm not going to tell you you're "too young." In fact, I think you are probably mature enough to say "I can wait to have sex until I'm married."

Are you up to the challenge?

You can try calling local clinics and seeing what your options are. Depending on where you live you may not be able to get an appointment without your parents permission. Until you can find a trusted adult like a aunt, or teacher...etc... to speak to about this, I suggest you wait until you get on birth control before you have sex again. Sex is a responsibility. Now that you are sexually active you need to see a gynecologist regularly each year. You will have to start charting your menstrual cycle. Above all else...even if you are on the pill, you still need to use condoms. Pregnancy is not the only thing you need to worry about...STD's should be a priority as well.

Because delivery manage does no longer defend you from STDs. Only a condom can do this. It's best that your gf is on delivery manage, as you're correct approximately it being extra robust in opposition to being pregnant. However oral delivery manage and different contraceptives, such because the delivery manage earrings and photographs, DO NOT defend you or her from STDs. Pulling out/Withdrawing (some thing you select to name it) may be for the prevention of being pregnant, no longer STDs. The simplest time it's dependable to NOT use condoms is whilst BOTH of you're monogamous and BOTH of you've gotten lately been checked for STDs and HIV/AIDS, and had terrible outcome absolutely. Even if you understand you and your associate had been monogamous, you will have to each be validated each and every 6 months simply to be certain. Remember that you do not have got to have intercourse to get HIV/AIDS, and the final factor you desire to do is provide your associate an STD.

You can get them through Planned Parenthood or any other kind of free clinic for teens. You can also get them from your own doctor, but chances are mom would see an insurance bill of some kind. But you DO have the right to get birth control confidentially at any age, your mom does not have to give you permission.

Look in the phone book for a clinic near you, or call your local county's health department and ask.
