Like Jeremy said, check your filters first, and the comment about keeping your phone away from the router may have merit. I had the same problem once with the phone almost on top of the router, but the local DSLAM was also faulty.

The guy talking about a separate IP for the phone simply does not have a clue what he is talking about. Phones don't have IPs!!!

if you have DSL, you need to have filters on all the phones in the house as well as where the internet plugs in. If you put in a new phone without a filter or took a filter out. that could be the problem. contact the people you get your internet from.

I presume you have your Internet feed via a DSL source.

Perhaps the phones do no have working filters or the DSL modem is faulty. I suggest contacting the phone company about this.

The problem is that you need another ip address to go to your modem. 1 ip address is for your phone and you need another for the router that you are using. Call your ISP and have them give you another ip address for your service and that will take care of the pc's getting knocked off the router.

Telephones work with electric signals. A wireless network is exposed to many other nearby incoming signals from such devices. The best you can do is make sure you have your telephone away from your router as possible. Also make sure you have a secure wireless network with WEP or 128 bit SSL.

You need a static reducing device on the phone cord.
