No I don't think Luke dies... He definately does not die in the Star Wars movies since he is the last Jedi, and I suppose that automatically makes him the Jedi master.
I'm sure he started to teach the ways of the Jedi after the empire was destroyed.

Why do u want him dead? In the movie he didn't die...as for the books....I heard that he runs a jedi academy...and one of his students turned inot the darkside...but i heard that he's not defeated during a fight...I totally forgot ab't the book's story co'z I read it soooooooooo long ago...

I dont think Luke skywalker dies, Aniken (lukes father aka Darth Vader) i know he dies in the last movie i think
