i figured i'd ask it here to prove a point in the religion and spirituality section. i'd like links to peer reviewed articles if any which may show that, as creationists claim, evolution is a lie. thanks.

There is not real scientific debate. Here is a link. The first sentence says it all.
http://www.aaas.org/news/releases/2006/pdf/0219boardstatement.pdf
And the AAAS is a very well respected scientific organization with over 120,000 scientists as members.

Well, if (as is often quoted) 95% of scientists believe in evolution, then it looks like 5% of scientists disbelieve it or at least have some doubt about it.
It is always difficult to find peer-reviewed articles on a subject that goes against the large-majority consensus or dogma. The journal "Nature" for example, was designed to be explicitly evolutionist from the outset of its publication. It's never ever going to publish a creationist article because it goes against the editorial policy. "Creation Technical Journal" publishes peer reviewed stuff.
There are a lot of books out there though, and many of them are well thought-out and better argued than some of (I'm not saying all, by any means) of the Evolutionist books. One example - even as an undergraduate in biology I was frustrated by the circular reasoning and arguments-by-analogy presented in The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. I concluded that if even I, bright enough but hardly a genius, could spot the huge holes in it, then it couldn't be all that great. I'm sure there are better books out there.
Oh, and evolution is CONSTANTLY discussed/debated/disputed in the scientific community - just look at how often the topic comes up here on Yahoo answers in the science section, in New Scientist and Scientific American journals, in the editorial sections of other journals......
Why do you feel the need to "prove a point" in the religion and spirituality section? It sounds to me like you are just trying to be mean and call people stupid because they believe in God. That's not very nice.

Can not do. There are no peer reviewed articles supporting any creationist claims. They do not want to play by the rules of scientific discourse.
Even if there were articles showing evolution a lie, they would count for little in scientific discourse. You have to propose a theory to overturn one, not just falsify the reigning theory. Popper did not have the affirmation part quite right in his philosophy of science.

Evolution is not disputed in the science community. You wont find any scientific papers concluding that evolution is a lie.
You should have watched the PBS program about teaching evolution in the Dover, PA high schools.
NOVA program Judgment Day: Intelligent Design on Trial

Here is a short list of sites to visit to get a better understanding of evolution.

I am not really sure just what is it you want to prove. But proving evolution is a lie just cant be done.

The fact/reality of evolution is not disputed in the scientific community.
The only thing that is disputed (and quite hotly) are specific details of what evolved into what, and when it did so.
A 1997 gallup poll of US scientists (of all disciplines) showed that 95% of them believe in evolution.

It isn't disputed. The only serious dissent came from Michael Behe, and he was shown to be a goofball at the Dover trial.

We all know that evolution is not disputed.
I believe in Genesis record, and as far as I know, evolution theory is still a theory.

Being a moderately religious student, I asked my Biology professor. She said there is no debate over whether or not evolution existed, only a debate over how it happened.
