Why are Black Men rejecting there own women to be with other races?

I do kind of feel it is becoming a sort of a "trend." It's happening way more now than ever ( yes I know becuase society is more expecting blah blah blah) but i've heard black men say that they feel black women are too assertive, loud, brash etc. they get this stereotypical thing in their head about black women, and just automatically most of the time don’t give them a chance or the time of day. So in a way some men are rejecting black women.

i would agree with all of it. black women have been getting a bad stereotype lately. but really only you black women can change that.

look at it this way. black man with a black woman knows she will run his world because she'll stand her ground. black man with a white woman knows he can run all over her, get away with running around, because she won't do ****.

i'd say black women win out in the end since you won't be taken for fools!

I agree. The same thing happens with Latin women dating outside of their race. They feel the men are too dominant.

I think men look at their mothers and assume all women are like that. They want to rebel from the feelings that they had around their moms--which could be that their moms are loud, assertive, etc. So they choose someone more meek, who happens to also be white or Latina.

I know I wouldn't date a Latin man because of the aforementioned stereotypes I developed from watching my father and brothers while being raised. I'm sure somewhere out there, there is a Latin man who does not fit this stereotype, but I think that when we find the right person, we are truly colorblind.

Wait a minute!!! Not all Black men are rejecting Black Women. Please do not insult all of us because some of us are dating outside of their race. I do not date outside of my race. That is just my personal preference. Why would I date outside my race when Black women come in all shades and sizes. And let's not forget, it is now the "vogue" thing for Black Women to date outside their race as well. Take issue with the men that are doing it if you have a problem and stop saying all Black Men are doing that because that is not true. I love my Black Queens and have no desire to date any other race even though I'm damn near bright enuff to "Pass"

Black women don't take no Bullshi@t from any man! Black men know this. Yes, plenty black women are loud and some down right mean to their man. Majority of black men have control issues, it's easier to control a woman that is passive.......agree? I wouldn't date a black woman, in fear of her "going off on me". Coming from a white male, I see why black guys want to date out of their race!!

I heard that black men date other races because they can get more (gifts, sex, ect...) then what a black women can give. In other words black men take advantage of other women of a different race. That's what I heard, but I don't know how true it is.
