Debate team...okay, I get that and that's cool, but you haven't said if your representing Pro' or Con'.

there are approved procedures for criminal interrogation that are lawful and fair, we have also used the patriot act to abandon those standards...if it is the abandonment of those standards you are referring to I would say with the exception of battlefield interrogations, that no it is does not justify the means.

No. There are rules, regulations and laws that investigators must abide by when questioning a witness. Suspects must be read their Miranda rights. No physical or mental injuries allowed. No torture. No deprivation.

it depends on what you stand for. a criminal investigation of any kind is goverened by laws. what can the investigators do and not do? well, if you stand for anything decent, the ends do not justify the means; and if you believe they do, then i say, you stand for NOTHING! thank you.....rebuttle?
