I have a "marshmallow" winter jacket from a few years ago which has the exterior shell made out of PVC. The tag says not to dry clean or machine wash, and to spot clean the exterior as necessary. The problem is the interior and exterior have gotten very dirty (it's baby blue so it shows). How can I get the dirt out?

The best would be to just use a hot damp cloth and spot clean it everywhere. That will take some major time though. You can put it in your bathtub and hand wash it with some Oxy Clean or laundry soap and the hang dry it, or even put it in your washing machine on delicate (I would try those in that order) spot clean it the best you can, and if it doesnt work the wash it in your tub.... I would use the washer as your last option. 99% of the time if you put the washer on delicate and then hang dry it doesnt damage your clothes... I do it all the time

maximum in all threat that's produced from wool. the interior lining is produced from polyester and the thread is any bodies wager. what's going to happen in case you wash it in chilly water and attempt to dry it in the dryer is that it will shrink horribly on the exterior. the interior would be ok yet larger then the exterior and the thread will pucker everywhere. yet another wards that is going to likely be junk. bypass to a sooner or later dry purifier or use a product you will possibly desire to purchase at any food market, called Dryell. you place the jacket in the pouch it comes with and shop on with the instructions. It cleans it in the dryer. that is not any longer large in spite of the undeniable fact that that's greater desirable than washing it. which will destroy it thoroughly.

Wow, what a strange jacket.. I for one try not to buy.. "Strange" fabrics for that reason... You could try turning the jacket inside out and washing it on gentle cycle cold w/ a small amount of detergent and then hanging to dry... However, I've never owned a "marshmallow" jacket...

Good luck

I had almost a similar jacket and the company gave me Leather-Clean to wash this jacket. It worked very well. I recommend you to use this solution. I think this will help you.
